Mathematical Sciences and Global Environmental Studies Course (maximum 45 students)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Exploring natural sciences and contributing to global environmental issues<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
Students will study natural sciences ranging from pure mathematics (algebra, geometry, and analysis) and theoretical physics to earth science, quantum computing, information security and cryptography, towards an understanding of Earth’s ecosystem and its application to climate change countermeasures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Application of physics and realization of a green ICT society<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
Students will learn about the functions and uses of materials such as metals, semiconductors, insulators, magnetic materials, and dielectric materials, the operating principles and characteristics of devices such as optical, information communication, information recording, and video display devices, and the correlation between material functions and electronic device characteristics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
